PR Officer – Graduate
Fixed-term contract (12 months)
Kidlington, Oxford
c.£27,047 pa, progression based on performance

As PR Officer you will develop, implement and coordinate our PR strategy, promoting initiatives and secure funding where possible. This will involve working closely with PR experts from a range of partner agencies and surrounding forces. You will also be maintaining parts of our intranet.
You should be a graduate, ideally with a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or equivalent. You will also need the ability to manage budgets for large scale projects and meet deadlines. Ref: C3701/08.


Graduate Communications Officer
Kidlington, Oxford
c.£23,921 pa, progression based on performance

As part of neighbourhood policing, we are looking for someone to develop two-way communications between our officers and the communities they serve; offering regular information about policing and providing practical communication support and advice to local teams. Ultimately, it’s about communicating that we are working to make safer places to live and work for all. So you’ll be tailoring our messages and our methods to include all members of our diverse communities.

Ideally, you will have a nationally recognised qualification in public relations at diploma level (or equivalent) and some experience of working in this field. The opportunity for regular travel will be available. Ref: C3619/08.

Graduate Communications Officer
Fixed-term contract (6 months), Aylesbury
c.£23,921 pa, progression based on performance

A maternity cover position and a great opportunity to gain some experience. Using your excellent communications skills, you’ll handle local and national media calls and write clear, concise copy for a variety of mediums and audiences.

A relevant communications qualification is required and you must be confident, enthusiastic and able to act on your own initiative.
