We recognise that no two people are alike and aim to offer a range of career paths that appeal to a broad range of individuals. We have three graduate entry programmes; 'GDF' is the main programme, 'FLDP' for those looking for a finance leadership career and 'SIGMA' for fast-track international leadership.

'GDF' is the graduate programme that offers training and development alongside on-the-job development. Graduates can use the opportunities of the GDF to develop their own networks across the UK business.

We have a large requirement for engineers; in particular, manufacturing & production, mechanical, electrical, systems, software, project management, microwave and quality. On the business side, they are looking for commercial, procurement, project management, sales & marketing and human resources.

Graduates are supported by their line manager and corporate mentor. Where appropriate they will also be supported in gaining chartership. The full package offered by BAE Systems includes a competitive salary (£22,000 to £26,000) with six-monthly performance reviews, an initial sign-up payment of £2000, 25 days holiday per year and a number of discounted healthcare, car lease and share schemes.
