Company Information

British Sugar UK is the leading supplier of sugars to the UK providing more than half the country’s sugar requirements. Currently around 5,000 farmers contract with British Sugar each year to provide around 7 million tonnes of raw material: sugar beet, which is grown on 125,000 hectares. The majority of the country’s sugar beet production is concentrated in East Anglia and the East Midlands.

If you are ready for responsibility, there is no shortage of it here. On the Engineering Scheme you could find yourself in charge of an entire shift, their performance and their safety within 18 months. On the HR, Agriculture, Finance, Business or IT schemes you will be making a massively diverse, 365-day operation run even more efficiently. At the end of it, we expect you will be equipped for a senior role.
