Today the London Black Cab is being utilised in over 40 major cities world wide. The current investment of £300m will see the Company develop and produce a purpose built ultra low emission taxi – the TX5 – capable of meeting new ambitious emissions standards being rolled out in major cities across the world. This investment also includes the construction of a state-of-the-art research, development and assembly facility in Coventry capable of producing the new suit of ultra low emission vehicles.
