About FDM Group

FDM Group is an award-winning company and the market leader in the Recruit, Train and Deploy industry. We are renowned for our dynamic Careers Programme, which transforms graduates, returners to work and ex-forces personnel into IT and business professionals before deploying them across our client base. We are proud of our diverse background, with centres across Europe, North America and APAC.

FDM Careers Programme

Our award-winning Careers Programme provides 6-14 weeks of training and the opportunity to gain industry recognised certifications with either a business or technical focus in one of our academies in London, Leeds, Glasgow or Birmingham. You will learn the professional and technical skills needed to excel in the world of technology and business and will benefit from invaluable commercial experience with our high-profile clients in various sectors including finance, media, insurance and not-for-profit.

Once training has been completed, you will represent FDM on client sites as FDM consultants for a minimum of two years. Following this, you will have the opportunity to continue your career with FDM as a senior FDM consultant or transition permanently with one of our clients.

Consultants are continuously supported during their career with FDM through initiatives such as our Mentoring and Consultant Peer Support Programmes. These Programmes focus on your continuous development, ensuring that you have the necessary skills required to be a successful FDM consultant working with high-profile clients such as Barclays, Virgin Media and Sky.

We offer training in the following areas:

  • Software Testing
  • Software Development (Java and .Net)
  • Business Intelligence

Joining the FDM Community

We welcome applicants from all degree backgrounds – you don’t have to study IT to work in IT.

After completion of the online application, successful candidates are invited for a telephone screening followed by a video interview. At the final stage, you will be invited into one of FDM’s academies for an assessment centre which will include tests as well as strengths-based interviews.

FDM Culture

At FDM our consultants are at the heart of the business, offering a dynamic, challenging and supportive environment. You will work alongside dedicated and ambitious colleagues, where corporate and social events take place regularly, in addition to reward schemes, employee initiatives and charitable activities.

“FDM gave me an inside track into a very competitive industry, allowing me to take on challenging roles and responsibilities faster than I ever could on a traditional graduate scheme. The level of responsibility and trust I have been given is rewarding and I am excited to see what the future holds.”
