Company Profile

Premier Pathways is a two-year teacher training programme for graduates seeking a salaried and comprehensive route to a career in education. We have proudly trained over 250 teachers and we won’t stop until there are enough quality practitioners in the classroom for every child to receive a great education.

Since our inception in 2016 we have had a 92% success rate with over 80% of our trainees staying on at their training school. Our steady route into teaching provides unrivalled support for all trainees from in-school, Premier Pathways and university mentors throughout the whole two years. We know it can be challenging training on the job whilst studying, so our route is a steady one, enabling you to emerge as an outstanding, capable practitioner.

Throughout the two-years you will be based in one school full-time, with training and induction days taking place during the school holidays. The programme ensures that you can train and earn a salary at the same time without paying any tuition fees.

In year one you will work in a support capacity, where you will gain an immediate foundation in educational knowledge on the level three Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. In the final term you will begin to work towards a teaching timetable (up to 50%) preparing you for year two, your official teacher training year. You will be teaching up to an 80% timetable alongside evidencing the teaching standards to move you towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). In addition, you will undertake the University of Buckingham PGCE by completing three written assignments.

We are looking for talented graduates who are seeking to forge a career in the teaching profession.
