The Severn Teaching School is based in Telford. We offer a high quality training programme delivered by experts in the field. We have an excellent support network to enable our associate teachers the opportunity to thrive and succeed. You will have access to a wide range of professionals who will be there to assist you if you have any questions, concerns, worries or needs throughout the course.
Training is in partnership with The University of Chester and we have commitment from over 60 schools to support ITT students. The schools are keen to work with us to enable them to fulfill their future recruitment needs and their desire to employ high quality trainees. The local special schools support the Severn Teaching School to enable places to be facilitated in special school settings as well as primary schools and nurseries.
From September 2016, we will again be offering School Direct places in high quality schools across Telford, this is your opportunity to gain Qualified Teacher Status and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. The Schools Direct programme will provide you with 60 days of direct tuition and a minimum of 120 days in school.
We are offering two programmes:
Primary (Ages 5 to 11) and Early Years (Ages 3- 7)
Financial incentives
