Your accountancy training
Our graduate programme also includes an excellent training package worth in the region of 15k, which leads to the ICAEW (ACA) Chartered Accountant qualification.
We will administer your accountancy training and ICAEW exams with one of the leading accountancy tutors in London. Paid study leave is granted and your course and examination fees are paid for first attempts. You’ll also benefit from regular one-to-one coaching.
You’ll also attend a range of practical training courses to help equip you with valuable business skills, such as IT skills, bookkeeping, leadership and more.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for articulate, confident, intelligent graduates with strong academic qualifications and a range of transferable skills. Accountancy is a people-focused profession. Numeracy is expected, but you must also be able to communicate confidently with colleagues and clients, as well as being able to:
- organise yourself and your workload;
- balance the competing demands on your time; and
- take personal responsibility for the development of your career
Your new career in accountancy – what can you expect?
If successful, you’ll join one of our accountancy firms where you’ll become part of a team preparing audit, accounts and tax assignments for a range of clients. Initially you’ll observe and learn basic skills from more experienced colleagues. You will be involved in recording clients’ systems and testing how they operate. Within weeks you should start to progress and take responsibility for small assignments.
During your second year, you’ll be expected to be competent enough to supervise your junior staff and work on mid-range audits with the minimum of supervision. By the time you qualify, you should be experienced enough to oversee a complete audit, and by the third year, you could be earning a very competitive salary!
How to apply
We accept applications throughout the year, so why wait any longer!
If you feel you’ve got what it takes to be a Chartered Accountant, visit our website to apply and let us help you reach your potential.
Please ensure you have the necessary entry requirements (as outlined above) before applying.
What happens next?
If successful, you’ll be invited to a first interview, where you’ll undertake Maths and English assessments and find out more about our graduate programme. The final stage involves a second interview with one of the accountancy firms we recruit for. Success at this stage will secure you a place at that firm.
