Wessex Water supplies almost 1.3 million people in the South West with nearly 280 million litres of water a day. Our distribution network includes 97 water sources, 112 treatment plants, 300 service reservoirs and water towers, and almost 11,690 kilometres of water main. In addition, the Wessex Group of companies also includes domestic and commercial property development and hotels. Our Engineering and Construction Services arm is responsible for delivery of a £780m programme of water treatment, waste water and network projects across the region as well as servicing other parts of the YTL Group.
